About the Geelong Small Business Festival
The Geelong Small Business Festival is delivered by the City of Greater Geelong in partnership with the State Government to help businesses in Geelong grow and connect through events, webinars and workshops.
The Geelong Small Business Festival offers a range of practical, interactive and innovative events that cover topics such as business development, marketing, social media, leadership, networking and financial management.
All events are low cost or free, and are designed to help small to medium business owners improve their productivity and learn from, network, and engage with other like-minded businesses and industry experts.
Geelong’s businesses are forever changing and innovating. The Geelong Small Business Festival provides many opportunities to improve your business, grow your business, and connect with other businesses.
Our signature event with Guy Grossi presenting Beyond the Kitchen was a night to remember. Guy shared the story of what motivates him and how he’s continued to cut through in a fiercely competitive business environment with engaging and heartfelt stories of his ongoing success and lots of laughs.
Other GSBF2019 keynote events included It’s Your Money – breakfast with the ABC’s Alan Kohler, Ngarrilimi – Nurturing Aboriginal Excellence workshop with Cormach Evans, and Business with a Life of Purpose with Roxie Bennett, Lyndelle Zuccollin and Sean Purcell.
Geelong Small Business Festival events are held in Geelong, Queenscliff and Torquay at a range of times to make it easier for people to attend.
Held annually since 2010, the Geelong Small Business Festival is organised by The City of Greater Geelong’s Economic Development team.
The diverse GSBF2019 program covered marketing and social media, start ups and entrepreneurs, networking, business development and sales, employing and leading people, and sustainability and sustainable practice.
We are very grateful for the support of our GSBF2019 sponsors, the City of Greater Geelong, Cleantech Innovations Geelong and the State Government.
