About the Geelong Small Business Festival
The Geelong Small Business Festival is delivered by the City of Greater Geelong in partnership with Small Business Festival Victoria. The #GSBF2018 offers businesses in Geelong help to grow and connect through events, webinars and workshops. The Geelong Small Business Festival offers a wide range of practical, interactive and innovative events that cover topics such as business planning, marketing, social media, networking and financial management.
All events are presented at low cost or free, and are designed to help small to medium business owners improve their productivity. The #GSBF 2018 offer opportunities to learn from, network, and engage with other like-minded businesses and industry experts.

Our signature event featuring Ita Buttrose will be a night to remember on the Geelong Small Business Festival calendar. Ita will guide small business owners towards the resilience factor and why it’s crucial for business success. Other #GSBF2018 key events include the Economic Breakfast with Bill Evans from Westpac, TedX in Queenscliff and some fantastic webinars from ‘Kochie’, David Koch’s KBB agency and our own Future Proofing Geelong.
Our indigenous business events offer fantastic range this year including learning the basics Getting into Business through Indigenous Business Australia and Prioritising Social Impact is Good for Business with a collaboration of hosts including Aboriginal Eco Dev.
Held annually, the Small Business Festival is led by the Victorian State government and held across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. The #GSBF2018 is organised by The City of Greater Geelong’s economic development team, who also arrange all keynote events for the local arm of the festival.
